Q: is it safe to take propafenone hcl the day before surgery?

Q: Do any of you take this medicine?
I take propafenone ( Rythmol) for heart palpitations and I would like to know if anyone else takes this medicine and can tell me the side effects they have experienced. Does this medicine cause kidney failure or diabetes?
